positioning in different anatomical locations in the spine (cervical,
thoracolumbar and lumbosacral spine). This part will be hands-on
cadaver labs using Zrinski polyaxial system for stabilisation. Each cadaver
will be CT scanned for evaluation of proper implants positioning.
In the afternoon of the second day, a theoretical part and cadaver
demonstration will be done on placement of ventriculoperitoneal and
syringo-subarachnoid shunts.
This is an advanced course and attendees should already have basic knowledge of spinal surgical conditions and decompressive procedures.
